The ideal candidate should possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and administration and hold a WI DPI license, preferably #1250 - Business Education, or be willing to obtain licenses to meet the requirements for the teaching position.

This position includes teaching classes with general business topics, such as personal finance, marketing, and/or accounting. Candidates are encouraged to check our course offerings. The 2025-2026 Course Catalog is available here

Teaching Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Teach Grades 6 & 7 Keyboarding/Typing & Digital Citizenship Skills

  • Teach High School Business/Accounting/Principles of Law/Personal Finance/3D Gaming

  • Understand Basic Computer Systems and Programming

  • Willing to investigate and offer Dual Credit courses

  • Ability to collaborate with grade level and curricular teams around student learning

  • Understanding and preference for working with middle and high school students

  • Ability to create a meaningful and student-centered learning environment

  • Understanding and proficiency in Google Classroom and virtual learning tools

  • Ability to incorporate reading and writing standards into the Business and Information Technology Curriculum

  • Ability to use data to drive decision-making in the classroom and beyond

  • Provides instructional support and assessment for students who are above & below grade level

  • Works collaboratively in a team approach and utilizes differentiated learning to meet the needs with students

The vacancy will start with the 2025-2026 school year.

Preference to candidates who hold a Business Education License OR meet Business Education eligibility requirements to obtain a Business Education license as required by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI).

Individuals who hold a valid WI DPI-issued license for Grades 6-12 in other content areas and are willing to obtain the Business Education or additional content area license are encouraged to apply.

School Location/Setting

The School District of Wild Rose is a small rural school district in central Wisconsin, located in Waushara County. There are currently 573 students enrolled in the School District of Wild Rose. We are 98 miles north of Madison, WI, and 39 miles southeast of Stevens Point, WI. The communities of Wild Rose, Saxeville, Mt. Morris, Pine River, and West Bloomfield, along with the surrounding rural areas of these communities, make up our district. The district function hosts 4K/EC through 12th grade in two buildings (Wild Rose Elementary and the Middle/High School).
